Overview
Wasp is a hard-to-hit ranged character that has one of the most effective self-synergy sets in the entire game. Her “Ricochet” self-synergy helps make up for her poor stats and gives her the opportunity to deal incredible damage. She can also help stagger bosses and has many Shock attribute tags on her abilities, which allow her to paralyze foes.

Traits
Flight
Wasp can fly by pressing the jump button twice. Flying helps avoid danger and increases movement speed. Hold the jump button to ascend or hold A to descend. Tap the jump button to cancel flight.
Attacks & Abilities

Light attack
A 5-hit combo string of long-range energy bolts. All hits are energy-type attacks.

Heavy attack
A spray of energy bolts that flinch enemies and shred Stagger gauges when used up close. An energy-type attack.

Air Attack
A rapid-fire series of blasts from her stingers. The attack is ranged and will slow her descent if you mash the attack button. All hits are energy-type attacks.

Wasp Sting
Wasp shrinks down and fire a series of electric attacks from her stingers. The attack can be continuously fired by repeatedly pressing the button. This attack works best when used as a synergy attack, providing excellent range and damage with “Ricochet” and “Scatter Shot” synergies. Use after Tiny Tornado for a self-synergy.

Tiny Tornado
Wasp rapidly flies in a circle and creates an electric tornado. Wasp is much harder to hit while creating the tornado and helps to get enemies away. This ability is one of her best options for damage thanks to providing many synergy options. Fire her Wasp Sting ability at the tornado for an extremely potent self-synergy.

Big Surprise
Throws and then enlarges a random object, such as candy and fidget spinners. This giant attack can quickly crush groups of enemies and is good for synergies. Self-synergizes with Tiny Tornado.

Bio-Charge
Shrinks in size before launching forward with an electric charge. It’s her best option for dealing Stagger damage. The button can be held to charge the attack and deal more Stagger damage without costing extra EP. Compared to other Charge synergy attacks, it’s medium-range and cannot be steered.

EX: Extreme
Wasp shrinks and darts about, firing bolts of energy all before releasing a large electric explosion from her body. This attack is great at hitting tons of enemies because of it’s wide range and works well as crowd control.
Strategy
Boss / Strong Enemy
When attacking a boss, using Bio-Charge works well because it does lots of Stagger damage and increases the enemies chance of being paralyzed by its Shock attribute. Her heavy attack, used at close distance, can deal lots of Stagger damage to enemies too. Once staggered, use any of her self-synergies for an instant Stun.
After that, Tiny Tornado followed by Wasp Sting is her main bread and butter for HP damage. It works well on all enemies because it allows her to stay relatively safe and has a high damage output. If she’s in trouble and is low on EP, her air attack keeps her safe and recovers decent EP when used on groups.
Weak Enemy
Use Tiny Tornado and then rapidly pressing Wasp Sting gives her a “Ricochet” self-synergy. Its easily her best option for attacking weak enemies. It has a huge range and also lifts enemies into the air, allowing her to continually attack. Aiming for synergies with her Big Surprise attack can also deal great damage to many enemies. Any of her basic attacks are good at recovering EP when you run low.
Tips
- The whirlwind created by Tiny Tornado already has shock ability attribute damage, but you can further add another element using a “Coalesce” synergy, including even a shock synergy.
- Get the most out of Tiny Tornado by using Big Surprise on the whirlwind right before it dies to create a “Calamity” self-synergy.
- Many of her abilities shrink her down and help reduce the chance of being hurt, so watch for opportunities when you can use her abilities for both offense and defense.
- Pepper in light and heavy attacks to keep your EP up. Using an ability directly after a light or heavy attack will help to speed up the light/heavy end animation.
- If you want to spam a heavy attack, hold L while repeatedly tapping the heavy attack button to speed up the end animation and use the attack at a faster rate.
