Retro Series: Planet Zygon

Planet Zygon GameplayWhile searching for Junkyard Jump asset files I managed to stumble across a few other Fox Kids games that I had played when I was younger, Planet Zygon being one of them. This game seems to be one of the more forgotten titles, yielding absolutely nothing relevant when performing a Google search. I figured I’d include this as a part of the Retro Series releases as the games seems to work perfectly and is pretty fun.

In order to play the game, you’ll need to ensure that you have Adobe Shockwave Player installed (formerly Macromedia Shockwave) and you need to “Allow” it to run when prompted.

You can visit the “Retro” section or click here to play Planet Zygon.

About this game…

Your primary goal is to prevent little alien creatures from falling down a hole by maneuvering a rock platform to catch them. When they hit the platform they bounce back up and you must continue to juggle them until they safely make it across the gap. There’s no penalty for missing the aliens with your platform other than a lower score total. The game itself is rather short, consisting of only three levels. The first two levels are pretty easy, but the third level is actually quite tricky to survive.

This game/Shockwave 7 currently does not work with some web browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc…) so I would suggest using one of the following confirmed working browsers:

If you’d like me to dig up another game from your childhood past that you can’t seem to find, feel free to ask in the comments. If you find any glitches let me know so I may update this post.
