Project Slime Alpha – Guide
Project Slime Alpha already has a plethora of features available at your disposal. The guide will outline some of the features and commands you can use in game.
Home Menu

The home menu is where you can access all of the game’s functions. To enter a command, type the command name and then press either “Enter” on your keyboard or click the blue “↑” button with your mouse. For example, typing “Stats” (without the quotes) will show you your characters current Battle statistics, such as HP, Strength, Magic, and so forth.
Commands
Stats – Typing stats will allow you to see your characters name, Rank and character type. You’ll also be able to see your player’s battle statistics, which include HP, MP, Strength, Defense, Speed, Magic, and Accuracy. These values determine the flow and ebb of battle, and correspond to the following in game mechanics:
- Health Points [HP] - Amount of damage your character can take before dying in battle.
- Magic Points [MP] – Total amount of magic. Some attacks need magic to activate.
- Strength [STR] – Determines the damage done by Physical type attacks.
- Defense [DEF] – Determines the amount of damage you take from attacks.
- Speed [SPD] – Determines your ability to dodge enemy attacks.
- Magic [MAG] - Determines the damage done by Magic type attacks.
- Accuracy [ACC] – Determines your ability to hit enemies without missing.
Gear - This function will show you the names of all of your gear that you currently have equipped. This includes your weapon (WPN), extra gear (EXG), headwear (HDW), bodyware (BDW), and legware (LGW).
Skill - Displays your active skills. Project Slime has a built in skill system, which generally help your character out in battle. Skills can give you stat boosts, resistances, or new attacks entirely. They are activated by wearing certain types of armor combinations or by holding a certain weapon.
For example, when starting out as a Melee type character, you have two active skills. The first skill, “Steel Set”, is activated by wearing the Steel Helm, Plate, and Greaves, giving you +1 Defense. The “Steel Sword” skill is activated by just the Steel Sword itself, adding +1 Strength to your characters stats. Please be aware that these stat buffs are not permanent, and will be removed if you change your armor or weapon combinations.
Shop - The shop allows you to purchase special items which are then synthesized to your armor and weaponry, dynamically changing and evolving your gear to become stronger and more powerful. These items can be stacked with certain combinations to allow for even stronger power-ups, such as using a M. Fireball atop of a another M. Fireball synthesis. Try your luck and find new combinations!
Quest - This option allows you to embark on a virtual quest, where you will encounter many different types of slime and battle them to the end. Your goal is to trek to the very end of the path, where you will be met by an end-stage Boss, specific to the area you’re traveling. You must use your attacks and techniques in order to defeat the slimes and become a true hero. To see what attacks you have available, see the Tech section below.
Tech – Displays a list of your techniques available to you during battle. In order to use a technique during battle, you must type the commands name or it’s shorthand code to activate it.
Example 1: During battle, if you notice your health is low, type “First Aid” or just “fta” to activate your First Aid technique, healing some of your HP.
Example 2: If you’re playing as a Sneak type fighter, type “stb” to activate your Speed Stab technique, which damages your foe.
Party – This option allows you to create a party, which you can then invite friends to via the Invite command. You can up to 3 friends can go on a slime hunting adventure online, battling enemies and helping each other make it to the very end. Project Slime is a 4-player quest of victory!
Invite – Use this command to invite friends to your party. To invite a friend, type “Invite” and then the name of the player you with to invite to your party. If you’d like to invite a friend by the name of PRIZZA to your party, you would simply type “invite PRIZZA”, and the invite would be sent out for their perusal.
Upgrade - When your character reaches level 35, they are eligible to upgrade into a stronger character type. With this comes new abilities and strengths! More information on this will be released at a later date.
Here is a list of other basic commands that are at your disposal -
- Save - Saves your current progress in game. Please keep in mind that the game does auto-save after most events, though.
- Wave – This is used to check if a friend is online, somewhat like a “ping” function. If the friend is online after you wave to them, you will be notified.
- rp - This is used to display your current Rank points, which are somewhat like experience points, and are used to determine your player Rank . The more you have, the higher your Rank!
- Version - Displays the current game version, good for seeing if you’re playing on the most current game release.
I would also advise to try “talking” to HelpBot, as he’s quite the personable guy. You never know what he may respond to!
Happy battling everyone, and stay vigilant for updates!
