Bug game in the works

I’m still alive and well, and have some new update information! I’ll keep it short and sweet -

I’ve developed a game where you play a bug of your choice and you fight against hordes of enemies. Don’t worry, they’re cool bugs. The graphic style looks like something from the NES, so hopefully that excites some of you.

Project Slime 0.6.8

I will be releasing Project Slime 0.6.8 a bit earlier than expected, as there’s a few bug fixes that I’ve sorted out in the latest build. I’ll try to add some more content, but it’ll mostly be fixing what’s already there. I’ll be improving the battle interface shortly as well. You can play the game by visiting it just to the right of this post!

Project Slime 0.6.7 Release

Over the past few days I’ve worked hard on putting a few new features and monsters into the newest version, and today is the day I release it. I’ll also allow the public to play, so all you have to do is click on the Project Slime Alpha link to the right. The game is much more fun when playing with a friend, so try the online features out and see how far you can get! Don’t forget to check out the general guide so you have an idea of what you can do in the game.

Please note that this is an alpha version of the game, so there’s not a lot of content. For example, the final boss you encounter is simply a placeholder design, and his animation look pretty shoddy. I’m updating this game as frequent as I can, so please check back for updates or subscribe to the RSS feed at the top.

To check that you’re running the latest version of the game, type “ver” in the command bar. The current version is 0.6.7
